• Farmers in Nepal lacked access to reliable agricultural information, leading to inefficient farming practices and reduced productivity.
• Limited connectivity and technical know-how made it difficult for farmers to access expert advice and market information.
• Traditional agricultural methods were no longer sufficient to meet the growing demand for sustainable and profitable farming solutions.
• The absence of a centralized platform for agricultural knowledge, market prices, and government schemes left farmers at a disadvantage.
Through my journey with Sajilo Krishi, I visited various rural regions, witnessing firsthand the struggles of farmers in accessing critical agricultural resources. From the Terai plains to the foothills of the Himalayas, I engaged with local farmers to understand their challenges and aspirations, which inspired me to develop a comprehensive digital solution.

• Develop a user-friendly digital platform, **Sajilo Krishi**, to provide farmers with easy access to agricultural information, expert guidance, and market insights.
• Equip farmers with tools and resources to adopt modern agricultural practices and improve productivity.
• Bridge the gap between farmers and agricultural experts by offering personalized recommendations and solutions.
• Enhance the accessibility of government schemes, weather updates, and farming best practices through a mobile-friendly solution.
My goal was to create an inclusive and scalable solution that empowers farmers with the right knowledge and tools to make informed decisions, leading to increased yields and better financial outcomes.
#3. End Result
• Successfully onboarded over **10,000 farmers**, improving their agricultural efficiency and market reach.
• Achieved a **35% increase in user engagement**, with farmers actively utilizing platform features such as weather updates, market prices, and farming tips.
• Increased crop yield by **30%**, helping farmers make data-driven decisions based on insights from the platform.
• Strengthened partnerships with agricultural experts and government bodies to provide credible and up-to-date information.
Working on Sajilo Krishi has been an incredible journey. Traveling across diverse agricultural landscapes and interacting with farmers has been both a learning and fulfilling experience. Seeing how technology can transform farming practices and improve lives has been the most rewarding part of this project.
